Amber Portwood, star della serie televisiva di MTV Teen Mom, ha partecipato recentemente ad un intervista con Dr. Phil che ha scosso i fan a causa della rivelazione dell’utilizzo massiccio, in passato, di un potente analgesico che l’ha portata ad esser “su di giri” durante la riabilitazione, gli arresti domiciliari e anche le riprese del serial televisivo.
Durante la stessa intervista Amber ha confessato il tentativo di suicidio, rendendo questo momento davvero toccante sia per i restanti colleghi di Teen Mom sia per i fan stessi.
In seguito a questa intervista, molti colleghi di Teen Mom hanno espresso il loro sostegno ad Amber, compresa Leah Messer protagonista di Teen Mom 2. Attraverso il suo account Twitter, la giovane ragazza ha così commentato:
