La stagione dei premi cinematografici e televisivi è in pieno svolgimento e non con troppe sorprese ieri (25 Gennaio) si sono svolti i Screen Actors Guild awards 2015. Nessuna novità dopo i Golden Globes, con i super favoriti che concorreranno anche per gli Oscar. Hanno ricevuto ancora una volte le statuette Patricia Arquette e JK Simmons come Migliori Attori Non Protagonisti rispettivamente per ‘Boyhood’ e ‘Whiplash’, altrettanto trionfano ancora Julianna Moore e Eddie Redmayne come Migliori Attori Protagonisti per ‘Still Alice’ e ‘The Theory of Everything’. Infine nella sezione film vince anche il cast di ‘Birdman‘, altro film rivelazione del 2014 con protagonista Michael Keaton.
Per quanto riguarda la TV invece ci sono un paio di nuove entrate, grazie ad alcune nuove serie di grande successo. Stiamo parlando della vittoria di Viola Davis come Miglior Attrice in una Serie Drammatica per la sua interpretazione in ‘How to Get Away With Murder’ e della vittoria di Frances McDormand per ‘Olive Kitteridge’ nella categoria Miglior Attrice in un Film TV o in una Miniserie.
