Questa notte si sono tenuti i SAG AWARDS, noti anche come Screen Actors Guid Awards. Già a Dicembre, quando erano state rese note le nomination, avevamo sottolineato come
spiccassero delle leggere, ma sostanziali differenze con i blasonati Golden Globe, questo è stato confermato anche nella serata della contrassegna degli awards.
Scelte più variegate e anche inaspettate come il SAG a Denzel Washington a scapito sia di Casey Affleck che di Ryan Gosling dati, alla vigilia, entrambi per vincitori certi.
Trionfa Netflix nella sezione Serie TV: Il SAG Award per miglior cast in una serie TV, è andato a Stranger Things, mentre The Crown ha portato a casa i due award più importanti nella sezione dramma: miglior attrice protagonista Claire Foy e miglior attore, John Lithgow.
