Siamo nel pieno della stagione degli awards, dopo aver saputo le attesissime nomination dei Golden Globes e aver scoperto i vincitori dei Critic’s Choice Awards ecco anche la lista delle candidature per i SAG Awards.
Noti anche come Screen Actors Guid Awards, sono premi che vengono consegnati ogni anno dallo Screen Actors Guild come riconoscimento per le migliori interpretazioni degli attori che costituiscono l’associazione.
Qualche novità rispetto alle nomination dei Golden Globe si nota con piacere. Intanto a contendersi il premio più ambito nella categoria Serie Tv, saranno:
The Crown, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, Stranger Things e Westworld
Compare poi nella categoria “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series”, la giovanissima Millie Bobby Brown per la sua interpretazione in Stranger Things che si contenderà l’award con dei veri talenti del piccolo schermo.
Per quanto riguarda la categoria cinema è Manchester by the Sea con 4 nomination a guidare la classifica, seguono Moonlight e Fences.
