Gli Academy Awards sono ufficialmente conclusi e Neil Patrick Harris ha presentato la grande notte del cinema… anche in mutande.
Alla fine, Birdman ha vinto l’ambito trofeo per il miglior film ed Alejandro G. Iñárritu ha vinto come Miglior Regista, superando gli altri candidati Wes Anderson, Richard Linklater, Bennett Miller e Morten Tyldum.
Eddie Redmayne si è aggiudicato il premio come miglior attore per la sua interpretazione di Stephen Hawking ne La Teoria del Tutto, mentre Julianne Moore ha ottenuto il trofeo come miglior attrice per Still Alice.
La statuetta come miglior attore non protagonista, il primo premio della serata, è andata a J.K. Simmons per Whiplash; mentre Patricia Arquette ha portato a casa quella di miglior attrice non protagonista per Boyhood. Con questi due attori Vince anche la TV che li ha ospitati per diversi anni, rispettivamente, in The Closer e Medium.
C’è un po’ di Italia anche in questi ultimi Oscar, con la vittoria della costumista Milena Canonero, alla sua quarta statuetta, per Grand Budapest Hotel.

Monopolio Disney a parte (Big Hero six è imbarazzante) sono rimasta soddisfatta dei premi. Hanno premiato tutti film “di genere” sia Birdman, che Whiplash che Boyhood sono film magnifici, ma che hanno una originalità e una particolarità che non potrà mai essere scordata da chi li vede. Detto ciò Birdman merita ogni singola statuetta, soprattutto quella come miglior regia e chi lo ha visto lo sa. Quindi bilancio positivo, anche della serata, che Harris ha saputo condurre meglio di Ellen l’anno scorso (un po’ troppo baracca per i miei gusti) quindi evviva il cinema, quello bello, quello buono, quello originale.
