BAFTA Television Awards 2013: le nomination

Sono state annunciate le candidature dei British Academy Television Awards, noti anche come BAFTA Television Awards, premi televisivi britannici, analoghi agli Emmy Awards negli Stati Uniti.

Ripper Street2Spiccano le sette nomination per Parade’s End, period drama con Rebecca Hall e Benedict Cumberbatch. Tra i drama, Ripper Street, Silk; nella categoria International invece, le due serie americane Homeland e Game of Thrones, che sebbene sia prodotta da HBO vanta un cast  composto al 95% da attori britannici. Come il bravissimo Harry Lloyd che in Game of Thrones ha interpretato Viserys Targaryen e che ha guadagnato la nomination per The SilkFear e Sean Bean che ricorderete nel ruolo del compiantoNed Stark che ha ottenuto la nomination per Accused. Infine come non menzionare Ben Whishaw che si aggiudica la nomination per il ruolo di Richard II in The Hollow Crow e il suo collega  Peter Capaldi che ha ottenuto la candidatura proprio per The Hour. Nessuna menzione invece per Downton Abbey e Doctor Who.

I premi saranno consegnati il 12 Maggio 2013, al Royal Festival Hall
