Sucre si fa consegnare lo zaino con i 5 milioni di dollari e si allontana in moto dalla casa di Jeanette. Michael, dopo essersi assicurato che la donna e sua figlia riusciranno presto a liberarsi, tenta inutilmente di assicurare alla giustizia T-Bag: l'uomo infatti si è già volatizzato. Mentre C-Note esce dalla casa cercando di evitare la polizia, Michael si dirige verso il bosco e qui lo vediamo incontrare il suo vecchio compagno di cella con il quale era in realtà d'accordo per dividere il denaro. Michael inoltre ricorda all'amico che una parte del denaro andrà alla figlia di Charles e che si preoccuperà di inviare una somma ingente anche alla famiglia di C-Note. I due tuttavia scoprono che nello zaino non c'è il denaro ma soltanto delle riviste: i soldi sono stati infatti presi da T-Bag, il quale, dopo acquistato da uno sconosciuto un pick-up, ha tutta l'intenzione di mettere in atto la sua vendetta nei confronti di Susan Hollander, la donna con cui aveva una relazione e che lo ha denunciato alla polizia. Bellick e Geary cercano però di raggiungerlo per arrivare ai suoi soldi. Sara, scioccata di fronte la dose di morfina preparata nel suo soggiorno, viene immediatamente minacciata da un agente dei Servizi Segreti, lo stesso uomo che ha colpito a morte Veronica. Nonostante ciò, la dottoressa riesce a liberarsi dell'uomo spruzzandogli negli occhi il contenuto di una bomboletta spray. Una volta al sicuro, telefona a un collaboratore del padre informandolo della sua posizione. Poco dopo arriva sul posto una macchina scura dalla quale partono dei colpi diretti verso una donna ferma alla cabina usata da Sara. La ragazza muore poco dopo e Sara è costretta a rubarle i documenti per cercare di proteggersi. Si rende conto inoltre che non può fidarsi neanche dell'amico del padre e prova a decifrare i messaggi criptati che Michael le ha inviato attraverso degli origami. Anche Kellerman è deciso a trovare una soluzione e, infine, riescono entrambi a decriptare i codici: a Sara però manca l'ultimo origami dove sono contenute le indicazioni sul luogo in cui potrà incontrare Michael. Lincoln riesce a raggiungere LJ ma è costretto a non farsi vedere per evitare i Servizi Segreti. Paga quindi un molestatore affinché insceni una lotta con LJ: una volta arrivato in ospedale, il ragazzo viene prelevato dal padre. Michael e Sucre tentano di scappare dalla polizia ormai a loro vicina. Per attraversare un fiume, Sucre rimane però incastrato sotto un pesante tronco. Nonostante il ragazzo dica a Michael di lasciarlo indietro e di mettersi in salvo, Michael non abbandona l'amico e riesce a liberarlo trainando il tronco con la moto dell'amico di Sucre. Una volta in salvo, acquistano un paio di automobili con i pochi soldi in loro possesso: nonostante la proposta di Michael di andare con loro a Panama, Sucre, saputo che Maricruz non ha sposato Hector, ha infatti deciso di rintracciarla immediatamente. Mahone viene interrogato dagli Affari Interni che ovviamente giudicano la dinamica della morte di Tweener non compatibile con il racconto dell'agente. Poco dopo arriva però una telefonata che permette a Mahone di tornare a lavorare sul caso: l'agente dell'FBI sta infatti collaborando con Kellerman e promette a quest'ultimo che porterà a termine la sua missione: uccidere tutti i fuggitivi del Fox River.

Note & Curiosità
L'agente dei Servizi Segreti che ha il compito di uccidere Sara è lo stesso che ha ucciso Veronica nella residenza di Terrence Steadman, a Blackfoot, Montana.

Sucre: No, I know, but just…
Michael: The water level's getting higher, Sucre. How many seconds can you hold your breath, 45? 60? That's how long you've got to live if I take off.
Sucre: How long have you got if you stay? How long ‘til the dogs lead the cops to you?
Michael: What you're suggesting is not an option.
Sucre: Look, I ain't tryin' to be a hero or nothin'. We both know there's only two things that can happen now. Leave me here, or we both get caught.

Sara: Bruce?
Bruce: Sara. I know we said not to use this number, but I just needed to know you were ok. My driver said he went to pick you up and the place was a crime scene.
Sara: Yeah, the woman that he saw? The woman by the payphone? That was supposed to be me. And, I had to leave her there. I didn't know what to do. Bruce, who are these people? They knew exactly where I was gonna be standing, they knew exactly where I was gonna be...
Bruce: Sara? You there?
Sara: It was you.
Bruce: What are you talking about? I just need to know where you...
Sara: Oh my god.

L.J.: Let me get this straight. You paid that meth head to whoop my ass?
Lincoln: Yeah. Feds were waitin' for me to come get you. It was the only way. It worked, didn't it?
L.J.: Yeah, it got me four stitches.
Lincoln: Adds character.

Kellerman: L.J. will lead us to Burrows, Sara will lead us to Scofield.
Kim: And how do you intend to follow Sara, when the only lead you've got is an origami bird with an out of service phone number?
Kellerman: Maybe it's not a phone number.

Michael: We gotta lose the bike.
Sucre: Unhuh. No way.
Michael: The roads are sealed. It's the only way we're gonna make it out.
Sucre: I can't go, bro! I promised...
Michael: You're not gettin' that thing across the river. Every minute we spend trying is a minute we don't have, ok? I'm sorry. But we gotta move.

Kim: What does an origami bird have to do with any of this?
Kellerman: Michael Scofield sent it to her. And since your brilliant plan to eliminate Sara Tancredi from the equation failed so completely...
Kim: I wouldn't say it failed completely.
Kellerman: There's a dead woman in a phone booth. Civilian. There's a certain number of bodies you can sweep under the rug. The president's rug is getting so full you can barely stand on it.

Sullens: Alex. Thanks for comin' in.
Mahone: You wanna tell me why internal affairs is pullin' me out of the field in the middle of a manhunt?
Sullens: It's been a while since we've had a sit-down, hasn't it? Not since Shales's escape.
Mahone: Yeah, yeah. What's goin' on, Richard?
Sullens: Well, that's precisely what I'm here to find out. You're not getting outta here until I do.

Sara (mentre prova decifrare il messaggio): What are you trying to tell me Michael?

Geary: First thing I do when we get home: clean underwear.

Sucre: Hey, Petey, uh, it's me. Listen, I've got something to tell you.
Petey: Yeah, well I was wondering when you were gonna call.
Sucre: Yeah, a lot has come down since we last talked, and uh...
Petey: Yeah, I know, I heard. You ruined it!
Sucre: Yeah... Uh... You heard already?
Petey: Well brother, everybody's heard, man, and let me tell you something man, Hector is pissed!
Sucre: What does Hector have to do with it?
