Michael e gli altri prigionieri sono costretti a rinunciare a fuggire dal Fox River. E' ormai arrivato l'ultimo giorno prima della condanna di Lincoln: Veronica e Nick chiedono al giudice di posticipare la data della sua esecuzione non potendo peṛ portare in tribunale delle prove concrete riguardo la cospirazione. Su richiesta disperata di Michael, Sara chiede al padre, il Governatore dell'Illinois, di rivedere il caso Steadman. Una chiacchierata con Westmoreland fornisce a Michael l'idea di far ritardare comunque l'esecuzione manomettendo la centralina che porta la corrente alla sedia elettrica. Tweener ascolta peṛ la conversazione tra i due e poco dopo la riferisce al capitano Bellick...
